Treefort for Good is dedicated to strengthening and sustaining free, community-benefit and educational programming throughout the fest, and year ‘round!
In the wake of the 2020 pandemic shutdowns and cancellation of Treefort Music Fest we established a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to provide immediate relief funding to local musicians and music industry workers who were abruptly out of work. Through this fund we were able to grant relief funds well into 2021, providing more than $69,000. Moving forward with a continued mission to strengthen, support, and create more opportunities within the Treasure Valley’s music and arts ecosystem, Treefort for Good seeks to invest in the compelling artistry and necessary infrastructure that ensures the scene is as inclusive as it is sustainable and resilient.
Treefort for Good endeavors to provide funding for community benefit, educational and free programming within Treefort Music Fest, including; Artfort, Dragfort, Foodfort, Filmfort, Hackfort, Kidfort, Music Talks, Podfort, Skatefort, Storyfort and Yogafort – as well as free, open to the public stages full of world-class programming (including 5 free stages and 244 free events during the 2024 festival). In addition, intern and mentorship opportunities, professional development and educational programs, and artist support initiatives are a year-round focus to raise up our music and arts community.
As an expression and extension of our community, Treefort for Good invites you to partner with us to continue to raise the margin of excellence for arts programming and professional development opportunities.
Help us fund community benefit, educational and free programming.
